I built my site on a MAC. As "Intercrap Explorer" hasn't been available ever on OSX, I built it to look great in the browsers I had access to, namley Fire Fox, Safari and Opera. One day at a mates house I got to see my website on IE 5. What a joke! he had to download a plugin for flash, all my tables were jumbled up, and buttons were missing? It was then I decided that IE and Microsoft could get stuffed. Why would they make something so awful that most of the world is stuck using? I refuse to change my website to work in IE. If people visit the site and it doesn't work, too bad. They will soon get the message with more and more webmasters no longer bowing to microsoft. My mate said he often found that websites didn't work correctly. I explained to him that he should delete IE off his computer after installing Fire Fox. To quote Homer Simpson... "So long, stink town!"

This post's not really aimed at developers; it's more for site owners as a heads-up to what's on the horizon.
