Hi Johnathan, I don't do much work with HTML emails so couldn't say for certain. I suspect you probably can't or if you can, that it wouldn't work on all clients. You'd probably get better info from the Email Standards Project or the Campaign Monitor forums.

Hi can you do a rollover within an html email? Meaning an html e-mail is sent can you set it up so someone rolls the mouse over a word/link and rollover and copy will appear?

Just saw you in my google reader a second ago and wanted to tell you — this was a really good article! I actually wasn’t aware of the “replaced elements” terminology.
