Sunelec's website was several years old, was difficult to update and maintain, and had a structure and branding that didn't reflect the current state of the business. Aside from a new look, Sunelec also wanted more and better control over their own content.
The new site plan required several levels of pages with slight variations in templates depending on which section you were in. We knew that ExpressionEngine would be required for its flexibility, but also the ability to customise publishing and editing pages to suit the exact requirements of different types of pages. Its user-friendliness was a plus too.
General information, products, videos, galleries, projects, news, and testimonials were all given their own templates and customised data entry interfaces and templates to display the content.
