Greater Brisbane Junior Tennis website screenshotGreater Brisbane Junior Tennis (GBJT) offers children under 18 years of age the opportunity to play tennis fixtures and tournaments in the spirit which promotes the game and values of tennis.

The organisation previoulsy had a section on the Tennis Queensland website, but wanted their own presence on the web as well as the ability to:

  • update the site themselves with regular news items, a calendar of important upcoming dates, player and team schedules, parent rosters and tournament events;
  • take player enrolment applications online which could be stored in a database for easier, more efficient record-keeping;
  • notify players of latest updates to the site and organisation news with an email mailing list or site RSS feed.

A custom design was created and Expression Engine was used as the content management system to perform the requested tasks.
