Redesign of an existing website for a Brisbane-based computer sales and support business. The business had been taken over by new proprietors and the old website was quite dated with a lot of out of date information. The brief was to give it a fresh new look and also to integrate it with the ExpressionEngine Content Management System to enable the site owners to update the site’s content themselves.
Apart from the CMS, the site also includes
- a contact form with all messages sent via the website entered into a database for easy storage and retrieval
- Google maps to give the business’ exact location
- geotags to help people who are searching for location-specific information
- new WAI-ARIA role attributes which aid the site’s accessibility
