Kaylene Kelly
The Brief
Kaylene Kelly, a visual artist based in South-East Queensland wanted a website to display her work to a wider audience, provide visitors with a bit more information about her and her achievements as an artist, and also give people the opportunity to purchase prints of selected works. Kaylene also wanted a site that she could update herself, being able to add new works to it as new pieces were created.
The Result
With the requirement for easy updating of the site, and needing to upload mutiple images for each piece of art added to the site, and e-commerce capability, we chose ExpressionEngine.
The design of the site was lead by the strong, bold imagery in the artwork, and even though Kaylene was unsure of exactly what she wanted at the outset of the project, we worked through the process with her and produced a result that was what she needed and was very happy with.
The Feedback
From my initial inquiries I felt that the quote given would be resonably close to the final account which proved to be correct and that was important for me. Early enquiries were promptly replied to with all the information needed and this continued until the job was done, which was great. The end result turned out to be what I needed and wanted even though I was not able to articulate that to start with.
I will do business again with Tyssen Design when I need to expand my site in the future and would be happy to recommend them to others.
